Eating Carrots Significantly Improves Night Vision

Carrots help normal vision but don't enhance beyond baseline

Eating lots of carrots will dramatically improve your ability to see in the dark.

Carrots contain beta-carotene (Vitamin A), which is necessary for normal vision. However, consuming excess carrots beyond daily requirements doesn't improve night vision beyond what proper nutrition provides. This myth was popularised by WWII British propaganda claiming that eating carrots helped pilots see enemy aircraft in darkness.
