We use Cloudflare's analytics to understand traffic patterns. Cloudflare may collect limited analytics data including:

2. Information from Google AdSense

• Your name (optional; if provided, you'll be credited as "Community Submitted")
• Your IP address (used for rate limiting and spam prevention)

4. Voting Data

When you vote on a fact, we store:

• Your IP address (to rate-limit votes: 1 vote per fact per IP per 24 hours)
• Your vote (upvote or downvote)
• Timestamp of the vote

Vote data is stored in Cloudflare KV for 24 hours, then aggregated into vote counts only.

How We Use Your Information

• Analytics: To understand how users interact with the Site
• Ad serving: To display relevant ads (managed by Google)
• Spam prevention: IP-based rate limiting on submissions and votes
• Community moderation: To review and publish community-submitted facts

Data Retention

• Analytics data: Retained by Cloudflare per their policy (typically 30 days)
• Vote data: Aggregated; individual IP data cleared after 24 hours
• Submissions: Retained indefinitely if published; deleted if rejected (after 30 days)
• Ad cookies: Managed by Google per their policy (typically 13 months)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare: CDN, DDoS protection, analytics, Workers, KV storage
• Google AdSense: Ad serving and analytics
• Cloudflare Turnstile: CAPTCHA verification on the submission form

Each service has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their data practices.

Your Rights

• Access: You can view your submitted facts on our Site
• Deletion: For data stored by third parties, contact them directly
• Ad preferences: Manage Google ad preferences in your Google account
