Glass is actually a liquid that slowly flows, which is why old windows are thicker at the bottom.
Glass is an amorphous solid, not a liquid. Thick bottoms in old windows result from manufacturing methods (crown glass was thicker at edges), not flowing. Glass doesn't flow at room temperature.
