mRNA from COVID vaccines integrates into human DNA, causing permanent genetic changes.
mRNA vaccines cannot alter human DNA because mRNA is fundamentally different from DNA and lacks the enzymatic machinery to reverse-transcribe itself into the genome. The human body has no natural mechanism to convert mRNA into DNA; that process (reverse transcription) requires specific viral enzymes like reverse transcriptase, found in retroviruses but not in mRNA vaccines. The mRNA from Pfizer and Moderna vaccines is destroyed by the body's ribonucleases within days, this is why boosters are needed, as the original mRNA is gone. For genetic integration to occur, foreign DNA would need to: enter the nucleus (cell wall blocks it), reverse-transcribe from RNA (no enzyme present), and then integrate into chromosomes (no integration mechanism). Millions of mRNA molecules are produced in our bodies daily as part of normal metabolism; our cells wouldn't survive if stray mRNA integrated into DNA. The confusion stems from the use of 'genetic' terminology around mRNA vaccines, they work with your genetic machinery but don't alter your genetics. This remains one of the most durable false claims despite being contradicted by basic molecular biology.
