Kids believed that if you spun around enough times, you'd train your body to become immune to dizziness and eventually spin indefinitely without getting dizzy.
While vestibular adaptation can reduce dizziness with repeated exposure, you cannot eliminate it entirely. Ballet dancers and gymnasts develop better balance through training, but they still experience disorientation. Dizziness is a protective mechanism controlled by fluid in your inner ear responding to rotation, you can't turn it off through training.
