C-3PO Always Had a Metallic Gold Colouring

From the original trilogy through the prequel films, C-3PO was entirely gold-coloured. In The Force Awakens (2015), he was redesigned with one red arm as part of his character history reboot. Many fans either don't remember or conflate the older films with the newer version, creating confusion about when this change occurred.
