Daddy longlegs (harvestmen) are extremely venomous spiders and would be deadly if their fangs could pierce human skin.
Daddy longlegs are not actually spiders, they're arachnids in the order Opiliones. They have no fangs and produce no venom. This myth conflates them with similar-looking creatures. Even if some species have minor toxins, their mouthparts cannot pierce human skin. They're completely harmless.
