Left-Handedness Can Be Trained Out

Handedness is neurologically determined and difficult to change

Children who are naturally left-handed can be trained or forced to become right-handed through practice and discipline.

Handedness is determined by brain lateralization and is largely neurologically fixed. While people can learn to use their non-dominant hand, forcing a left-handed person to write with their right hand doesn't change their neurological preference. Such attempts can cause learning problems and psychological distress. Modern education recognises left-handedness as a normal variation.
